The original ‘We are the World’ is one of my favorite productions ever.  This new remake seems pretty insincere.  It’s directed by Paul Haggis?!!! Seriously? It’s ENG style cameras pulling out of focus.  A rap bridge? Really?  I think there’s a reason T-Pain and Lil’ Wayne use autotune, they can’t sing.  Why are they in this epic vocal track?

I’m disappointed in this remake.   There are some good moments and it’s worth a watch.  But be warned, Kayne needed to perform by himself apparently.  Surprise Surprise.
