Oh Apple, how I love Thee.

So, i was just sitting here subscribing to some more podcasts and my mind started wandering around my average day.  I sort of “rediscovered” the extent to which Apple products touch my life throughout every part of my day.  I am sure most of you who read this are the same way and can elaborate on your daily interactions.

7:01 a.m. - A little application called “Awaken” springs to life on my MacPro sending wonderful melodies to my speakers via iTunes.

7:15 a.m. - Browse the inter-webs until fully awake, often on the MacPro.  Usually see if there are some new albums on iTunes that need purchased for the day.

8:01 a.m. - Grab my iPod Nano (1st gen) and Nike+/Apple Sport Kit and Apple earbuds and head for the gym.  After a vigorous run, Lance armstrong congratulates me on a new personal record which is stored in my iPod Nano.  Thanks Lance!

9:01 a.m. - iPod is docked, workout info sent to nikeplus.com, music synced etc.

9:02 a.m. - Visit Nike+ website, see that I have just overtaken Muto in the Eyeboogie Summer of Loosers running challenge.

9:02 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. - bask in the glory of beating Muto.

9:16 a.m. - Redirect iTunes to play over my home theater system via my AppleTV.  This in turn is piped via sony’s S-AIR technology to a little unit in the bathroom for shower tuneage enjoyment.

9:30 a.m. - Brushing teeth, jamming.  Oh, what’s that, not a great song??  Glide my finger across the iphone, bringing it back to life, and tap the remote app, ahh lets change that song.  iPhone remote —> MacPro / iTunes —> Airtunes to AppleTV —> Song in the bathroom changes instantly.

10:01 a.m. - In the car now, iPhone connected to car stereo, playing audio books, music, podcasts etc.  Call comes in, sound fades, ring comes up, answer via apple bluetooth headset, don’t even touch the iPhone.  Ahh, boring call ends, music back up.

10:30 a.m. - Sitting at desk at XXXX studio making cool stuff.  Jamming to tunes on my iPhone.  Ahh, email requesting a booking next month.  Pop over to Safari, me.com.  Check the old calendar, confirm booking, add to calendar.  Add new studio contact info.  Glance at iPhone, yeah new contact is there too, instant.

12:30 p.m. - Step out to lunch.  Buzz in pocket = 5 new emails, 3 texts (party tonight), oh, and someone commented on the photo I just posted of my Pho noodle lunch.  Thank you.

3:01 p.m. - Gotta step out to research some microphones for a title sequence.  Hit up the Yelp App (or other various apps) from the Application Store.  Gives me all the info I need to get to Guitar Center.

7:01 p.m. - Work wraps, iPhone still going strong.  Move some storyboards in progress over to my iDisk at me.com.

7:30 p.m. - Back home, AppleTV up playing tunes for now, iPhone syncing, MacBook out on the couch for surfing, checking damage to AAPL stock today (WHY?? I ask).

8:30 p.m. - Back to the MacPro, gotta finish my demo reel in Final Cut Pro, Compress it then master a dvd in DVD Studio Pro, or heck, why not iDVD.

9:30 p.m. - Out for drinks, back to Yelp first for some help, then some quick directions from the Map application.  Thank you iPhone for knowing where I am, when I have no idea!

12:01 a.m. - Back, time to crash.  An episode of The Office on the MacPro (within viewing distance of bed), Awaken can also sleep the computer when the show is over.  iPhone charging up for another great day, Nano awaiting my early morning run, MacBook just chilling, AppleTV syncing up some content for a lazy night tomorrow.

Things in the Goubeaux household grow quiet, but the constant breath of Apple objects lulls even the weary to sleep in hopes that tomorrow they can bring the collective Apple experience one step closer to perfection.  Then again, what isn’t perfect about it now?
